The Brazilian Grand Prix will be held on November 11-13, 2022, and will be the season’s 21st race. Here’s all you need to know about watching the 2022 F1 Brazilian Grand Prix live on TV.

F1 Brazilian Grand Prix, Brazil first appeared on the Formula 1 schedule in 1973 at Interlagos. In 1990, after a brief stint at Rio de Janeiro’s Jacarepagua in the 1980s, So Paulo again took the reins as the host city. Since 2004, it has taken place in the late part of the season. Since then, various drivers have been named World Champions, including Lewis Hamilton in 2008 and Sebastian Vettel in 2012.

The F1 Brazilian Grand Prix was renamed after a revised agreement was struck last year, ensuring Interlagos’ continued participation in Formula 1 through the 2025 season after 2020’s Covid-mandated absence.

Interlagos, “between lakes,” is the name of the So Paulo neighborhood that lies between the artificial reservoirs of Guarapiranga and Billings. The track is officially known as the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in honor of the late Brazilian Formula 1 legend who won his only race there in 1975. One of Formula 1’s most miniature circuits connects two long full-throttle stretches with undulating long-radius bends.

Following its debut in 2021, F1 Sprint will make its third appearance of the year and return to Interlagos for the second consecutive year. As a result, there won’t be any practice sessions before Friday’s qualifying, and Saturday’s Sprint will determine the starting grid for the Grand Prix on Sunday.

The entire F1 São Paulo Brazilian Grand Prix race weekend, from FP1 to the race, will be aired by pay-TV outlet Sky Sports in the UK on its own Sky Sports F1 channel. Additionally, Now TV offers a live broadcast of the coverage and USA ESPN+/ABC. Throughout the race weekend, F1 São Paulo Brazilian Grand Prix race highlights will be carried on the free-to-air channel Channel 4.

From FP1 on Friday to the race on Sunday, PlanetF1 will provide live timing and knowledgeable analysis for every race weekend session.

Information on how to get to the 2022 São Paulo Brazilian Grand Prix:

Many airports serve So Paulo. The busiest airport is Guarulhos (GRU), followed by Congonhas (CGH), the smallest and least popular of the three.

To get to the F1 São Paulo Brazilian Grand Prix racetrack from there, use a cab, a private hire car, either by yourself or with spectators, or the subway. Using a Bilhete Nico smartcard, which can be used to pay for bus, metro, and train fares and is available at underground stations, you may take the metro from nearly anywhere in the city to Autodromo metro station in Interlagos, which is only 600 meters from the circuit’s entrance.

Although Hamilton’s most famous event in Sao Paulo was undoubtedly the dramatic finale to the 2008 race that earned the British driver his first World Championship, all of Hamilton’s victories have come while racing for Mercedes. Last year, Hamilton overtook the Germans.

    Brazilian Grand Prix Predictions:

The last time out, Mercedes was back on track in Mexico City, but it was still insufficient to challenge Red Bull’s hegemony.

Verstappen is set to add his 15th victory, making it tough to envision the RB18 maintaining its dominance in the Interlagos area.

However, the sprint format might surprise, perhaps in the shape of an improbable podium finish from Alpine or McLaren. With a 40-point margin between Ferrari and Mercedes in the battle for second, Ferrari must outperform its performance from two weeks ago.

    • However, Verstappen is the winner in our eyes.
