Formula One schedule for 2022
The F1 calendar for 2022 has 22 scheduled events, one race short of tying the record for the longest F1 calendar.
The season began on March 20 in Bahrain and will conclude in November with the traditional Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, though slightly earlier than usual. If the schedule is followed, this will be the earliest end to a Formula One season since it ended on November 4, 2013.
The Canadian and Japanese Grand Prix will return to the 2022 F1 calendar after being canceled in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Miami Grand Prix will also make its debut on the calendar, the first of the two races in the USA in 2022, with the traditional United States GP taking place in October.
The Russian Grand Prix, which was supposed to take place on September 25, was canceled due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
