    The latest round of the men’s and women’s rugby contests, the 2022/23 World Rugby Sevens Series, arrives in Hamilton, New Zealand, on 21-22 January.

    After winning the last leg in Cape Town, the host nation’s Black Ferns enter round three at joint top of the women’s standings alongside Antipodean foes Australia.

    Keep an eye out for Australian points machine and current series leading scorer Maddison Levi, closely followed by New Zealand’s Michaela Blyde.

    Meanwhile, Hamilton is the fourth stop on the men’s race, led by Samoa and South Africa in a tie for first, with New Zealand trailing in third.

    Akuila Rokolisoa of the All Blacks hopes to add to his league-leading 127 points.

    Remember, there’s even more, to play for this season, with the top four teams in the 2022/23 world series automatically qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
